Simplicity

Half of the Kakaras Family has made a decision. We need to move towards simplicity (at least in the foundational periods).

What we are doing is trying to figure out how to balance 3 checking accounts (Family Money, Chris Money & Wifey Money). Not to mention many savings accounts and secondary checking accounts that I have opened because they had a $50-$100 bonus for signing up.

Well, I have come up with an idea. Perhaps the Family Finances would be better off it we consolidate everything to one checking account and then just use ING Direct for savings (ING Direct is a staple and always works really well).

I have yet to bring this to the attention of the 2nd half of the Kakaras Family. I likely will this weekend. You might be thinking, “won’t she see this post before you tell her.” One might assume this, however, you have no reason to worry.  My wife does not check my website…

To sum it up, I’m on a journey for simplicity.  I will let you know how it works.  I might endorse this as the way to go during transitional periods during life.
